If you’re looking to get a great value digital TV package, with all the normal FreeView channels, Catch up TV and an On Demand service, then TV Essentials from BT might be right for you as it’s currently just £4 a month with the BT Broadband and Evening & Weekend Calls package.
The BT TV Essentials package offers you up to 70 FreeView channels as standard, unlimited access to Catch up TV from the last 7 days including the BBC iPlayer, and access to over 5,300 on demand shows at the touch of a button, all for just £4 a month. This package comes with a free BT Vision+ digital box, which means you pause, rewind and record live TV to ensure you don’t miss a second.
To be able to watch the BT TV Essentials package you do need to take the BT Broadband and Evening & Weekend calls package, which is currently free for 4 months and then just £13 a month thereafter. This means the total cost of this package is £4 a month for the first 4 months of an 18 month contract, and then £17 a month thereafter.
The BT Broadband and Evening & Weekend calls packages will give you home broadband with up to 20Mb download speeds, and a 10GB monthly download allowance; and free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines starting with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870. You also get a free BT Home Hub with this part of the package, which offers the most reliable wireless connection compared to all other UK broadband providers.
If you’re a current BT Broadband customer then you can simply add BT TV Essentials to your existing package for just an extra £4 a month.
